Rosevear- Bloodlines

Call this my "holy crap I haven't drawn these guys in like a year" phase. My style has gone through a considerable amount of change since my last drawing of Rosevear and Skelechuan (who must always appear together). Rosevear was rather doey eyed looking, and that's not the feel I intended for her! She has a Washu-like spunk, and I really wanted to bring that out a little more in this picture. As for Skelechuan, this may sound odd but.... I've always wanted to draw him with his mouth open.

I didn't originaly intend the background the be the "jumpin' out of a portait" kind, but then again really didn't have a solid one in mind anyway. The borders looked much nicer before I merged everything, and I tried many times to preserve their original appearence. Be that as it may, I enjoyed how this one turned out. Kinda reminds me of Vampire Hunter D... what do you think?
